The Urban Outdoor Adventure Initiative is a project funded through Sport Ireland and Dormant Accounts. It involves a collection of sports clubs, schools, community organisations, agencies and NGBs working together to create greater opportunities for people living in urban areas to participate in physical activity through adventure sports.
The focus for the current project is on
- Trail Walking
This task will be made easier with the incredible natural resources right on the door step of Sligo Town such as the Garavogue river, Lough Gill, Cairns Wood and Hazel Wood to name a few.
