HER Outdoors Week Outdoor Sports Club Grant Application
Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership is delighted to be celebrating HER Outdoors Week which will take place from the 12th-18th August 2024.
SSRP have launched the availability of the Her Outdoors Club Initiative Grant Scheme and are calling Outdoor Recreation and Adventure Sports Clubs to apply for funding to host initiatives during HER Outdoors Week.
HER Outdoors week aims to celebrate and encourage more females to get out and enjoy the benefits of being in the outdoors while bringing visibility to the opportunities for females to get involved in outdoor physical activity. HER Outdoors Week takes place from the 12th to 18th August 2024.
Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership (SSRP) are inviting Outdoor Recreation and Adventure Sports Clubs to apply for a grant (maximum €200) towards an event/initiative targeted at increased participation for Women and Girls during this week. Closing date for application is Thursday 25th July 5pm.
By ‘outdoor recreation and adventure sports’ we mean activities that take place in the natural environment, such as walking, canoeing, mountain biking, orienteering and wild swimming etc. More Information can be found in the Application Form.
