Success at National Boxing Championships for Tommy Myers

Tommy Myers proved successful competing at the National Championships in December. Myers of Sligo City Boxing Club, East City Sligo, won gold in the 74kg Boy 2 finals coming up against Jude Fitzgerald of Dungarvan, Waterford. This is the first All Ireland medal for Tommy.

The club has been very busy preparing for these competitions following 2 years of limited sport due to Covid-19.
